The Faculty of Clinical Informatics has partnered with Digital Health Rewired

Earlier this year, Digital Health announced the first ever Digital Health Rewired – an exciting new event, designed to connect health IT leaders with the latest digital health innovations. The Faculty of Clinical Informatics is delighted to be one of the key organisations invited to provide knowledge and expertise towards developing the programme.

“Our partnership with Digital Health is an important step in helping us to achieve our aim of establishing clinical informatics as a recognised and respected professional discipline in health and social care in the UK.” – Dr John Williams, Chair of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics

Digital Health Rewired with take place on 25-26 March 2019, at the Olympia, in London, and will begin with the Digital Health Leadership Summit on day 1. This is designed to bring together CCIOs, CIOs, CNIOs and C-suite executives to address the leadership challenges of digital transformation. On day 2, the ‘Rewired Expo’ will exhibit the very best work from pioneers in digital health and care, from across the UK, with an emphasis on integrated care and interoperability.

Start-ups, developers, CCIOs and CIOs will be given the chance to work together on prototyping digital solutions as part of the Hack Day, which will run across both days of the show and be showcased towards the end of the second day.

“We share the central aim of accelerating the development of CCIOs and clinical informatics leaders to ensure that all clinicians and patients see the full benefits of the digital revolution underway in health and care. It is a pleasure to work with them and we look forward to supporting them on their journey.” – Jon Hoeksma, CEO of Digital Health

The Faculty’s partnership with Digital Health Rewired ensures that close attention is paid to the issues and challenges currently facing NHS IT leaders, allowing them to facilitate appropriate support where necessary.

Digital Health Rewired is a free event for professionals working within the NHS, public sector, as independent providers, and for those working within the charity and education sectors. Click here to learn more.
