Faculty of Clinical Informatics’ Reaction to the Topol Review

The Faculty of Clinical Informatics welcomes the publication of the Topol Review, having been asked to input expertise around clinical informatics as part of one of the invited panel sessions. We are delighted to be mentioned as part of the recommended action plan for implementing improvements in educating and accrediting the multi-professional NHS workforce and we look forward to being part of the collaborative effort to educate and empower clinical informaticians working in health and care.

The Founding Fellows of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics have elected their first ever Council and Officers.

Following a hugely successful initial recruitment of Founding Fellows during 2017, we enlisted over double the expected opening total. As of May 2018, we will have elected the first Council and Officers of the Faculty; this milestone in our development means that we are once again open to applications for the next round of Fellows to join our growing membership cohort.

Faculty of Clinical Informatics: Full speed ahead for election of first Council and Officers

The inaugural meeting of Founding Fellows, held in November at the Royal College of General Practitioners, was a great success. More than 80% of the Founding Fellowship attended and the event had a real buzz from start to end.
