Applications are now open to join the Faculty of Clinical Informatics!

Join the Faculty of Clinical Informatics for access to a supportive professional network, to help build your knowledge and skills, to network, learn from peers and help advance clinical informatics for the benefit of patients and the public.

We are delighted to say that since our inception under two years ago, the Faculty now has a membership of 346 Members, Fellows and Associates, with 195 of these accepted in our last cohort in February. Due to the success of the previous recruitment round, and high levels of interest coming from potential members, we have decided that it is again time to open applications.

The Faculty of Clinical Informatics offers professional leadership to clinical informaticians within the UK. Our membership encompasses health and social care professionals, who utilise their specialist knowledge through data, information and information technology, to ensure safe and effective person-centred care.

If you are interested in joining the Faculty as a Fellow, Member or Associate, please read the criteria laid out below. This should help you to determine which is the most appropriate category for you to apply for. Please note that we don’t expect all aspects of the criteria to be met, but will assess overall contribution.

Clinical Informaticians applying to become a Fellow or Member of the Faculty must be registered with a statutory body overseen by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA).
